FTP Features

• File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a software standard for transferring computer files between machines with widely different operating systems. With our hosting packages, you can use any FTP based client to upload data / content to the web space included in your hosting package.
  Unlike some hosting companies which restrict the amount of data that you can upload and download on a daily basis. You get the ability to upload and download data 24x7 an unlimited number of times. Add to this, you get the ability to add up to 100 FTP users with access to the Complete Log of actions performed by each user.

Private Folder for Storing Sensitive Data

• A private folder is included with every hosting package which allows you to store data and files securely and quickly via FTP. This folder is outside your web directory i.e. not directly exposed on the internet via HTTP and has special security permissions such that no user, other than the FTP Users specified by you, has read or write access to the data in this folder.

Web Traffic Reporting

• A powerful web traffic reporting tool is included within your control panel. This tool generates web based reports that provide insightful information about the users visiting your website, such as; the number of unique visitors, no of hits, avg duration spent by each user on your website, most viewed entry and exit pages, search engines, key phrases and keywords used to find your site, etc.

Password Protect your Directories

• Directory Protection is an easy-to-use web based tool included in the control panel that allows you create as many password protected areas as you want without requiring any programming. This allows you to store sensitive material online and give browser based access to such content / data to authorized users only.

IP Deny Manager

• Using the IP Deny Manager tool within your Web Hosting Control Panel, you can easily control access to your website based on the visitor's IP Address. Moreover, you may deny access from all IP Addresses of a particular block of IP Addresses, if you are receiving constant abuse from the entire range of IP Addresses.

Your Own Backup Policy Manager

• The Backup Manager provides comprehensive and cost effective protection by allowing you to define highly flexible backup policies that will protect their critical data. The web-based backup policy manager provides an easy-to-use one-step wizard to add each policy.

Raw Log Files

• Comprehensive Raw Log files are made available in each web hosting packages Logs Folder, including; Web Log Files, FTP Log Files, Mail Log Files. The Log Files Manager in the control panel provides extremely flexible options to manage these raw log files.

Customizable Error Pages

• You can use the "Custom Errors Pages" section of the Control Panel to customize HTTP errors that are sent to clients when web server errors occur. The customization options allow you to redirect the user to a local URL / remote URL or specify a text / HTML message on the occurrence of the specified HTTP error.

Free Domain Aliases

• Domain aliases allow you to point multiple domain names to the same web hosting package. You can add up to 5 Domain Aliases with each hosting package that you purchase.

Domain Access with and without "www"

• Our web servers are configured to allow domain access with and without the "www." in front of the domain name i.e. http://www.yourdomain.com and http://yourdomain.com will both work perfectly.

SSL Secure Server Manager

• Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology protects data by creating a secure connection between a client and a server using encryption enabled by a server's SSL Certificate. SSL is required if your website is an ecommerce website (or) has any secure login areas (or) requires any secure pages. The SSL Manager in the control panel allows you to manage your CSR's (certificate signing requests), public and private keys, SSL certificates provided by your CA and self-signed certificates generated by the server.

• LEVEL 3 - Host Security
  We have standardized on hardware vendors that have a track record of high security standards and quality support. Also, with the advent of tools that are able to bypass port blocking perimeter defense systems such as firewall's, we have an essential Host-based Intrusion Detection System (HIDS) which assists in detecting and pinpointing unauthorized changes to the system and configuration files.
• LEVEL 4 - Software Security
  Our applications run on a myriad of systems with a myriad of server software. We ensure security despite the diverse portfolio of software products we utilize by following a process-oriented approach. All servers are registered for automatic updates to ensure that they always have the latest security patch installed and that any new vulnerabilities are rectified as soon as possible. Frequent checks are run using enterprise grade security software to determine if any servers have any known vulnerabilities. Our system administration team produce impact analysis of various software upgrades and if any of them are perceived to have a high-risk, they are first beta-tested in our labs before live deployment.
• LEVEL 5 - Application Security
  All of the application software that is used in the platform is built by us. We do not outsource development. Any 3rd party Products or Components go through comprehensive training and testing procedures where all elements of such products are broken down and knowledge about their architecture and implementation is transferred to our team. This allows us to completely control all variables involved in any particular Product.

Live Backup (RAID Technology)

• We use cutting-edge RAID Hardware to protect all data on the server against harddisk failures. This technology works by creating a mirror of all data on more than one harddisk automatically, without any delay i.e. all data is written to multiple harddisks simultaneously so that if any harddisk fails, that harddisk will be marked as deactivated and the system will still continue to function as though nothing has happened.

Distributed Infrastructure

• Our globally distributed servers are a collection of redundant infrastructure which hosts all our Products and Services. The benefit of this is that it integrates hundreds of distributed servers seamlessly, providing high-availability, redundancy and unmatched reliability.

Datacenter Network

• The datacenter's are connected to the internet through Gigabit Ethernet connections from separate backbone providers, who each run fiber optic cables into the data center through separate entry points.

Datacenter Services

• The total incoming power is a multiple of what is required to run the datacenter. There is an automatic kick in a generator in case of a power failure. The datacenter's are also equipped with redundant UPS systems to ensure clean power. Also, redundant A/C systems, each running at a fraction of their capacity, keep the server rooms cool. These units are alternated so that each one is kept in optimal condition. Specialized fire detection and protection systems meant specifically for protecting servers are used, as using ordinary water based systems would cause just as much damage as fire.

DNS Services

• Domain Name System (DNS), although often overlooked, is essential to virtually every Internet transaction, and hence an extremely crucial service for ensuring that your web site and email continue to function correctly. We include DNS Services on extremely optimized, globally distributed, highly redundant (n+1), robust DNS infrastructure, that is geared to deliver 100% DNS uptime and offer unmatched DNS query response times.

Total Control over SOA, A, MX, CNAME, NS records and TTL

• More than 90% of the web hosting companies worldwide do not provide you with an interface to manage your own DNS Records. With each of our hosting packages you can add, modify, delete all types of records through the web based interface. All additions and modifications will reflect instantly on every DNS server. You can even set and change TTL on a per record basis, and modify all the SOA parameters.

Geared to deliver 100% DNS uptime

• Research and studies show that a lot of hosting companies tend to distribute their DNS servers poorly mainly due to lack of resources, planning and expertise. DNS downtime can bring down a companies website or email for up to 48 hours even after the service comes up due to caching practices of ISP's.
  Our distributed DNS architecture is built by subject-matter experts after a lot of careful planning and comprises of n+1 servers, spread across data centers in different geographical locations, ensuring that there is NO single point of failure.

ZERO propagation delay for additions or updates

• Our DNS servers use a custom version of BIND which allows any zone additions or modifications to reflect immediately across all our DNS Servers without requiring any restarts. The propagation time for any DNS changes is thus zero.

Support for Round Robin DNS

• Round-Robin DNS is a load balancing technique by which the balance power is placed in the DNS server. This provides the ability to host identical websites on multiple servers and balance user access between these servers. Round robin DNS is usually used for balancing the load of geographically distributed web servers along with other forms of load balancing and clustering.
